Moving through the mangroves near Captiva's Roosevelt Channel, this dimunutive prairie warbler stopped briefly for a close up.

These flamingoes have been a regular fixture in the waters near Punta Rassa since Hurricane Idalia churned up the gulf coast in late August 2023. 

These aerial acrobat male ospreys invade each other's air space over the J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island.

The fishing is good on Sanibel Island. This snowy egret seems to walk on water as it savors a meal.
